Today we have both Kindle Publishing lessons, and the last World Cup related email for 4 years.
So if you’re not a football (or sawker for you Americans), you’re in luck.
But it only happens twice a decade so I need to get my use out of the event.
I’d like to highlight the runners-up, Croatia today.
Because even though they lost in the final, the fact they got there at all was an achievement.
A small nation of only 4.5 million people (that’s smaller than the population of Alabama) beating powerhouses like Argentina and England is nothing to sniff at.
Even in the final, although they lost – they still outran the French team despite having played the equivalent of a full extra game beforehand.
Their cardio levels were off the chart to say the least.
And that’s what I’d like to talk about today – your marketing cardio
The ability to just keep going and outrun your competition.
To have the mental toughness to push through when things start turning against you.
The energy to wake up every morning with a fresh slant on your business.
That’s what separates the winners from the losers in Kindle publishing, and marketing in general.
So whether it’s more niches, more books or more emails – if you’ve got good marketing cardio levels you’re in good shape.
And understanding this is one of the most important Kindle publishing lessons you can learn.
Moreso than any kind of keyword research, book cover design or cool AMS hacks.
And if you’d like to see where I get my endless inspiration and ideas from, then check out http://doubleyourkindlesales.com
You don’t have to be Croatian, French or even a football fan to benefit from it.
P.S. The next World Cup is in Qatar, which means I’ll have unlimited email ammo for those 4 weeks
