Last night I had the pleasure of attending a wedding in Bulgaria.
I was invited 3 days before, and there was no way I was saying no to this.
I gotta tell you, this was a spectacle.
There were over 450 people there.
The sheer amount of food was mind blowing.
The music was non-stop, at a volume which could only be described as “aural destruction”
So today has been a bit of decompressing to say the least.
But it did get me thinking.
The entire ceremony was in Bulgarian, so I had no idea what was going on
And I see a lot of publishers make the same mistakes in their book descriptions.
Not literally speaking in another language, but their words themselves completely missing the mark.
There was one book in particular, which I highlight in Double Your Kindle Sales – whose description doesn’t match up with the content of the book, or the target market at all
So for all intents and purposes, it may as well be written in another language.
Because knowing your market, and knowing what to say – is more important than how you say it.
